There’s something electric about New York Fashion Week (NYFW)—the flashing cameras, the bold designs, the unapologetic self-expression. It’s a place where creativity and ambition collide, where designers tell stories through fabric, and where models transform a runway into a stage of empowerment.

But for me, NYFW is more than just fashion. It’s about building a community of women who uplift each other—no drama, no competition, just genuine support. Because in a world that too often pits women against each other, we need spaces where we can stand together in our power.

Walking through the streets of New York during Fashion Week feels like stepping into a dream. Every corner has its own energy—emerging designers showcasing their artistry, photographers capturing fleeting moments of confidence, and editors scribbling notes that could launch the next big trend( I hope this will be me one day!!).

As a producer and runway show creator, I’ve had the privilege of bringing visions to life in Columbus, Georgia, and this year at NYFW. Behind the glitz, there’s hard work, late nights, and relentless passion. But what fuels it all? The connections. That moment when these women felt safe and seen. The women who show up not just for the spotlight, but for each other and in genuine fashion.

The fashion industry has a reputation for being cutthroat. But what if we rewrote that narrative? What if we created spaces where women walked into a room and felt seen, valued, and supported? Now this, this I am here for.
